A workshop célja, hogy az 1956. évi forradalom 60. évfordulója méltó szakmai megünnepléseként a levéltárosok és a kutatók, érdeklődők megtekintsék a korszak emlékhelyeit (munkatábor helyén létesített emlékpark, múzeum, levéltár), és lehetőséget biztosítsanak a kötetlen formájú szakmai tapasztalatcserére.

CO:OP abstract for administration:

The Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Archives of the National Archives of Hungary (NAH) – as the partner of CO:OP (Community as Opportunity, The creative archives’ and users’ network) project – organises its 23rd International Archival Days on 19–20 October 2016. The county archives organises a workshop on the first day (19 October), dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution 1956.

The aim of the workshop is to remember to the 60th anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution (1956) by visiting the remembrance places of the period (work camp, museum, archives), and to promote the exchange of experiences and opinions between the  protagonists: the historians, the archival staff and the private and academic users.

The event is public, the participation is free of charge, but pre-registration is requested (e-mail: szszbml@mnl.gov.hu), all registered people will recieve a feedback. The participation is limited up to sixty people. The deadline of the registration: October 17, 2016.
