-According to the effective provisions of law registering data of authorities of common concern which are involved in the scope of competence of the Archives
-Reporting and supervising on the records management regulations, the administration and the storage conditions of records with abiding value in case of authorities of common concern which are involved in the scope of competence of the Archives
-in the cause of preserving archival material, supervising the scrapping of files in case of authorities of common concern which are involved in the scope of competence of the Archives; approving official reports of scrapping
-In co-operation with record keeper departments, preparing the way for transporting and taking over records of abiding value by the Archives
