About us

The National Archives of Hungary is the nation's record keeper. Nowadays, archival work has to conform to the needs of the society and the citizens in connection with scientific researches, family history or the accessibility of legal documents.

Those valuable records are preserved and are available to you, whether you want to see if they contain clues about your family’s history or are researching a historical topic that interests you.
